Contech Marketing Associates Marketing Approach & Sales Strategies

Contech establishes a business plan and sales target in conjunction with the marketing and sales management of our principals. This target is based on the sales potential for the product within the customer base, the existing business level and planned growth of the product line from the joint marketing and sales plan formed with our principals.

Contech markets its products to large and small customers in all identified market segments. Customers are qualified based on market potential, applications, and available budgets. Contech focuses on establishing and growing base business as well as long term large project business.

Contech maintains a customer and potential database using Omni, a contact management and business tracking software from Sales Development Software, Inc. Our database is continually updated and maintained for general and targeted mailings. Contech shares our database information with our principles for these purposes.

Each Contech salesperson maintains a notebook PC, for product demonstrations and presentation as well as database & contact management. We encourage our Principals to develop demo software on the PC platform. Our sales engineers promote demonstrations as a vehicle to prove the equipment’s suitability for the customer’s application. Demon-strations of this type are very well received by our customers and have proven to be a valuable sales tool.

Sales Meetings are held regularly. Principles are welcome to participate to provide technical product training as well as planning sales strategies to promote the principal’s products.
