LS3300 AC Power Calibrator: Ability to Calibrate up to 0.15% Class Power Meters

Yokogawa Test & Measurement is proud to announce the release of the new LS3300 AC Power Calibrator.

The LS3300 is an AC power calibration device with a basic power accuracy of 0.05%, giving it the ability to calibrate 0.15% and below class power meters. Built upon the technology of the 2558A AC standard, the LS3300 extends its predecessor’s capability by allowing simultaneous output of voltage and current (at wider ranges and higher stability and accuracies), with a guaranteed phase angle accuracy of ±0.03º at 50/60 Hz. This makes it ideal for testing WT300/200 power meters, as well as various portable test instruments ranging from CW500’s to CL series clamp-on testers.

Key Features
1. High resolution 5.7 inch LCD with vector display of the power system

2. Ability to synchronize multiple units through a master-slave interface for emulation of various single and multi-phase wiring schemes, including balanced or unbalanced systems
3. All units come with default USB, GPIB, and Ethernet communication interfaces and standard accessories
4. Built-in protection from over-voltage and abnormal load conditions
5. Line synchronization capabilities and power factor adjustment from -1 to 0 to +1
6. Ability to generate up to 1250 V and 62.5 A per unit, at frequencies from 40 to 1.2 kHz.
7. Calibration of current sensors through use of the auxiliary output terminal

Key Benefits – Convenience, Accuracy/Cost, and Standalone Capabilities
1. Convenience – Through synchronization features, one can easily set output conditions on all connected units. Unit will automatically notify user when output has stabilized through onscreen prompts

2. Accuracy/Cost – Combines high accuracy at a reasonable price tag compared to our competitors
3. Standalone Capabilities – Each LS3300 unit can operate independently as well as in a three phase system; Fluke’s subunits cannot operate standalone
