Sam Simione, Major Account Sales, Mil-Aero Markets

Sam Simione is the President of Contech and Sales Engineer for Mil-Aero and Key Accounts. Sam is the Operations Manager for the company.

Sam has over 20 years experience working for Test & Measurement manufacturers, holding positions in Engineering, Applications, Sales and Marketing. Sam’s sales and engineering experience includes Microwave & RF products, General Purpose Test & Measurement products, Power Supplies & Sources, Automatic Test Equipment, Signal Analysis products & Digital (Network) Test Products. Sam is a member of the IEEE.

Sam’s key accounts are companies such as Honeywell, BAE Systems, ITT, L-3, & Lockheed Martin facilities in NJ & Eastern PA. Previous to forming Contech in 1993, Sam’s Engineering and Sales experience was with the following companies:

Sam holds a BSEE from the Polytechnic Institute of New York. Graduate credits from NJIT and has attended Sales courses at the American Management Association. Sam is a member of the IEEE.

Anthony Yackovich, Sales Manager, New York City & Long Island

Anthony is the Sales Engineer for New York City, Nassau & Suffolk counties (Long Island) New York. Anthony is Vice President of Contech and the Sales Manager responsible for managing seminars and local trade shows, Principal Visits and reporting.

Anthony has over 20 years experience in Sales & Marketing of Test & Measurement products with Iwatsu, Fluke and Wavetek. Anthony’s sales and engineering experience includes General Purpose Test & Measurement products, Microwave & RF Products, Communications Test products, Data Acquisition, Calibrators & Standards, Automatic Test Equipment, Digital Scopes, Logic and Spectrum Analyzers, & Power Supplies.

Anthony’s Key accounts are L-3 Narda, Miteq, Symbol Technologies, Brookhaven National Labs, Telephonics, Herley, BAE/Hazeltine, FAA, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin & Con Edison.

Anthony’s holds a BSEE from Pratt Institute in New York and is a member of the IEEE, LISAT Conference for exhibits and public relations. Before joining Contech in 1995, Anthony’s engineering and sales experience was with the following companies:

Don Link, Northern NJ, Orange, Rockland, Putnam & Westchester, NY, Fairfield Cty CT

Don Link joined Contech in October of 2003. Don has over 15 years experience in selling RF/uWave & Wireless Measuring Instruments, Power Supplies & Sources engineered assemblies, components and cables. Don’s territory includes Southern NY State, Northern New Jersey & Fairfield County, CT. Don resides in Paramus, New Jersey.

Don’s key accounts include IBM, LeCroy, Lucent, Motorola, Anadigics, Andrew, Flarion (Qualcomm) and Exxon Research. Don holds a BSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA.

Before joining Contech in October 2003, Don’s engineering and sales experience is with the following companies:

John Rako, PhD., Mercer County New Jersey, Jersey Shore, Northeast & Central

John joined Contech in July of 2005 and is the Sales Engineer for Mercer County New Jersey, Jersey Shore & Northeast & Central Pennsylvania.

John’s sales and engineering experience includes Industrial & Scientific Laser Sales, Optical Testing & Calibration, Lasers & Optical components, Data Acquisition & General Purpose Test, Power Supplies & Sources, RF/uWave & Wireless products and semiconductors.

John’s key accounts are Agere, Tobyhanna Army Depot, BAE, Lockheed Martin, Excelon, PP&L, Penn State University, FAA Tech Center among others.

John holds advanced degrees in Physics from Case Western Reserve and the University of Toledo. John strengths include leadership, teambuilding, and is well versed in negotiation and communicating with both engineering and management types.

Before joining Contech in June, 2004, John’s engineering and sales experience is with the following companies:

Mike Baylis, Metro-Philadelphia area, South-Eastern PA, Delaware and Southern New Jersey

Mike Baylis is Sales Engineer for the Metro-Philadelphia area, South-Eastern PA, DE and Southern New Jersey.

Mike joined Contech in November of 2008 and resides in Wilmington, DE, just south of Philadelphia and west of Southern NJ. He is well positioned geographically to cover South-Eastern PA, DE and Southern New Jersey.

Mike has over 17 years experience selling in the embedded systems space, including single-board computers, STD and CompactPCI-based systems, hardware-assisted debug tools, software development tools and real-time operating systems working for companies such as Wind River Systems, Freescale Semiconductor, Metrowerks and Ziatech.

Mike holds a BSEE from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA and also has participated in numerous continuing education courses including:

• Strategic Selling workshop (July ’00)
• Management and Supervisory Leadership Certificate – University of Delaware (November ‘99)
• Nahman-Parsons “Selling the Value of Technology” workshop (May ‘99)
